Trustee Orientations return to in-person sessions with a completely updated program. These orientations are run by MBLC staff who support library trustees in Massachusetts, Maura Deedy, Library Advisory Specialist and Rob Favini, Head of Library and Advisory Development. 
Attendees will learn about their roles and responsibilities as a trustee, best practices for relationship building with library director and community, and the role of advocacy as a trustee. This session will be interactive, with ample time for discussion and questions. Trustees of all tenure are invited to attend, along with library directors and prospective trustees. 

Trustee Orientations may be canceled due to low registration. Participants will be notified and a cancellation notice will be added to the MBLC calendar.
