Census Data for Libraries - Data on a Deadline

The MBLC invites all interested library staff and advocates to a series on discovering your community through Census Data. Presenter from the U.S. Census Bureau, Nicole Esburnett McKenzie will, through live demonstrations, teach participants to how to use data.census.gov to gain meaningful data and insights into your library's community that libraries can then use to inform advocacy, programming, services and more! Questions are highly encouraged as personalized information can be acquired and viewed in real time. The third session will be:

In this session you will explore census.gov and learn where to find and how to use a variety of data access tools that can quickly provide a snapshot of your community or state. Through short live demos you will gain insights about tools and resources such as QuickFacts, data.census.gov, Narrative Profiles, OnTheMap, Interactive Maps and more.

Attendance at the previous two sessions is not required to join this session. All registrants will receive a Zoom link for the webinar the day before the event.
