MFOL Annual Meeting
A note from the MFOL Board from the Newsletter: 

We will open our Executive Board meeting to the membership as our Annual meeting. We will hold our annual election for officers and board members at this meeting.

We hope you will join us and participate in the meeting. Most importantly, we hope that you will consider joining our Executive Board. We have been fortunate over the years in having an active Board, that works to present timely and interesting programing and assure Friends groups stay in touch, sharing and being recognized for their activities.
Unfortunately, for various personal reasons, we have lost several Board members over the past two years. We are asking you to please consider joining us at this meeting, and help us insure that our Board is working smoothly with representation from Friends groups across the Commonwealth.
I personally assure you that it is a wonderful group of folks. We meet as a Board just 4 to 6 times a year, or as needed. Our main business is planning for the two Friends Sharing with Friends conferences – one in the Fall and one in the Spring and selecting the winner of our Donna Forand Fantastic Friend Award (that is a difficult job!). We also plan what should be included in the newsletters and ensure Friends are informed and involved, and advocate for Library Funding.
We would be most grateful if you, or someone from your Friends group, would consider joining us. MFOL works on behalf of all the Friends groups, but it needs help from our members from across Mas-sachusetts to do its best work! If you have any questions at all, please just get in touch. We would be happy to talk with you and answer any questions.
