Trustee Orientation - Virtual

Join us for the Spring 2021 Virtual Trustee Orientation Program.

This program is designed for all trustees, from newly sworn in to seasoned trustees.

At the MBLC trustee orientations, you’ll learn about the role and responsibilities of a board member. MBLC staff will cover library funding and State aid, state laws with relevance to libraries, how to be an effective board member, and tools for advocacy at all levels. There will be time for questions and answers, and interactive breakout sessions.
These sessions are open to all trustees, library directors, library staff, prospective trustees or trustees not yet sworn in. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, these sessions will be held virtually.

The session is run by:
Liz Babbitt, State Aid Specialist
Maura Deedy, Library Advisory Specialist
Rob Favini, Head of Library Advisory and Development
